UPDATED: 5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: March 9
Music in Our Schools Concert at Framingham High and the Framingham Library presents Irish music at Heritage at Framingham tonight.

1. About a dozen homes were without water yesterday on Potter Road Tuesday after a water main break. The break caused a sink hole on the road, too. Crews were on the scene making repairs for hours. Click here to see photos.
2. The annual Music in Our Schools Concert is tonight at Framingham High.
The all schools event features bands from Cameron Middle, Fuller Middle, Walsh Middle and Framingham High. The grand finale will feature more than 100 musicians on stage. Music by Atwater-Donnelly starts at 7. The public is invited.

3. Shop at Whole Foods marketplace today and help the Framingham Library. The Framingham Library Foundation will receive 5 percent of all purchases made today.
4. And tonight, the Framingham Library will sponsor a program featuring Irish music at Heritage at Framingham in the Peloquin room at 747 Water Street at 7. Attendees are asked to park at Hemenway Elementary and walk over.

5. Three Framingham elementary schools have PTO meetings tonight. They include Potter Road PTO, Stapleton PTO, and McCarthy PTO. All start at 7.
Plan ahead: Framingham First will host the first of its 7 scheduled community forums, focused on the ballot question to be on the March 29 Town of Framingham election, tonight at Wilson IB School.
Framingham First is advocating for voters to say yes to the creation of a Charter Commission to study Framingham's form of government.
If voters say yes, a Commission would be created and voters would also elect 9 Commissioners to study options to present to voters in 2017. There are 26 Commission candidates.
