1. History comes to life at the main Framingham Library tonight. Judith Kalaora with present “A Revolution of Her Own: Deborah Sampson Gannett (1762-1827)“ at 7 p.m.
Through interactive stories and authentic colonial attire, attendees will experience the story of Mrs. Deborah Samson Gannett, the first woman to enlist, fight in, and be honorably discharged from the American Military.
This captivating hour-long program chronicles her life as she goes from the only “schoolmarm” in Middleborough, Massachusetts, to an enlisted soldier in the Fourth Massachusetts Regiment of the Continental Army, under the alias “Robert Shurtlieff.”

2. The concrete bleachers at Butterworth Park, built in the 1930s, are scheduled to be demolished.
Bids for the demolition are scheduled to be opened today at the Memorial Building.

3. The Framingham Planning Board is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Ablondi Room at the Memorial Building. On the agenda is occupancy review for the Danforth Green/Avalon Bay and Clarks Hill projects.
4. Take a wild edibles tour tonight.
Join Rachel Goclawski, a delightful and knowledgeable forager, to explore and learn about the wild edible foods growing along the edges of our woods and fields, at Open Spirit, on the campus of Edwards Church in Saxonville tonight at 6 p.m.

5. Last night was open house for parents at Walsh Middle School. The math department staff was not hard to identify as they wore blue shirts that said “Inspire,” with the symbol for Pi.
