AAA: Gas Prices Up a Penny To $2.34 A Gallon

AAA Northeast: "A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was $1.19 higher at $3.53."

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up one cent from last week, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham on Route 9.

AAA’s April 13 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.34 per gallon, up one cent from last week.

Prices locally are seven cents lower than a month ago.

The current price is five cents less than the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.39.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 46 cents, from a low of $2.13 to a high of $2.59.
