Autism Alliance Receives $2,000 Grant from MutualOne Charitable Foundation
April is Autism Awareness Month.

MutualOne Charitable Foundation awarded a $2,000 Foundation grant to Autism Alliance of MetroWest, a family support program based in Natick, announced Steven M. Sousa, executive vice president and chief operating officer of MutualOne Bank and Foundation trustee.
The funds will be used toward the purchase of equipment for Sunday Open Gym, a social and recreational activity for individuals with autism and their families.
“We are pleased to support autism-friendly recreational and social opportunities for individuals in MetroWest and their families, and to help build public awareness regarding autism,” said Sousa.

The grant to Autism Alliance of MetroWest was among awards totaling $85,350 in the Foundation’s most recent round of funding.
Since it was established in 1998, the MutualOne Charitable Foundation has donated over $2.9 million to charitable, educational, and civic initiatives that improve and enhance the quality of life in Framingham, Natick, and surrounding communities.
