Paul D. Castelline, 59, of Framingham

Castelline was a math teacher at Franklin High for more than three decades and active with Framingham United Soccer Club.

He was the husband of 27 years to Denise (Simmons) Castelline.

Born in Concord, MA on May 22, 1956 he was the son of the late Dominic and Alice (Brown) Castelline.

He attended and graduated from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in 1974. He graduated in 1979 from Framingham State College and later went on to earn a Master’s degree.

Castelline was an avid birder and enjoyed woodworking, especially making furniture. He also enjoyed staying active by hiking and being involved with the Framingham United Youth Soccer Association. His true passion was helping people in any way he could and being of service to others.

Castelline was a math teacher at Franklin High School for 31 years, where he was loved by his students.

He and Denise married on August 6, 1988. Along with his loving wife Denise, he is survived by their three children, Ryan, Erin and Michaela of Framingham, his brother David Castelline and his wife Anne of Concord, and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home in Maynard.

Funeral was Friday, Sept. 4 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 27 Main Street, Southborough.

Interment at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.
