Doug Flutie Announces 'Dancing With the Stars' Run

The Heisman Trophy winner and former Natick High football player will hit the dance floor for the show's 22nd season.

Football fans remember Natick's Doug Flutie for "The Pass," in Miami at Boston College and dancing his way to a Heisman Trophy, but will he soon be hailed for "The Box Step?"

Only time will tell.

Flutie announced Tuesday he will join the cast of Dancing With the Stars for the hit show's 22nd season.

The full lineup was revealed on Good Morning America and includes 'Full House' actress Jodi Sweetin, Fox News host Geraldo Rivera, and current NFL players Von Miller and Antonio Brown.

Partnering with Flutie is fan-favorite dancer Karina Smirnoff, who will teach the football legend how to tango off the gridiron. He faces stiff competition in fellow athletes Miller and Brown, as well as UFC fighter Paige VanZant, who has a background in competitive dancing.

The new season premieres March 21 at 8 p.m.
