Eversource Second Street Project Starts This Week

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Eversource is set to begin a Second Street project this week that will stretch until April, officials said.

Eversource Gas is set to begin the project today, Jan. 7. The work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Traffic accessing Second Street from Beaver Street will be one-way alternating, and traffic accessing Second Street from Waverly Street (Route 135) will be detoured at times between Waverly and Beaver Park Road, city officials said.

When the detour is in place, traffic can access Second Street via Tarralli Terrace.

The road will be passable to emergency vehicles at all times.
