The person would assist the Chief Academic Officer “significantly in the day-to-day operations, planning, organization and control of an efficient and effective office that provides the maximum benefits to the students, teachers, administrators and citizens of Framingham.”

The qualifications listed in the job posting are:
1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
2. Minimum of five years’ experience as an Administrative/Executive Assistant to an executive.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of computer use and appropriate applications.
4. Demonstrated supervisory skills and commensurate experience.
5. Ability to establish and maintain organized office systems and procedures.
6. Effective interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
8. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
9. Ability to take notes and transcribe information.
10. Ability to work independently and take initiatives to recommend and pursue relevant projects.
11. Ability to conduct research and produce reports.
Responsibilities of the positions are:
Office Administration:
1. Preparation and distribution of selected meetings agendas and minutes (including research, preparation and production of agendas, supportive material).
2. Preparation and distribution of agendas and material for scheduled meetings.
3. Preparation of the professional development matrices for Curriculum Management Team and for scheduled professional development days and half-days.
4. Preparation of a comprehensive two-year professional development calendar.
5. Respond to questions by the media and/or community.
6. Resolve parent concerns, if possible, or refer them to appropriate school department personnel for resolution.
7. Provide reports as may be required by Chief Academic Officer.
8. Support the office in the preparation and oversight of selected grants.
9. Prepare budget reports, billheads, and or purchase orders as required.
10. Prepare charts, graphs, and supportive material for budget presentations.
11. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Academic Officer.
