The city is encouraging people with diverse backgrounds to apply for positions

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Applications are now being accepted for seats on a variety of municipal boards and committees that have opened due to the establishment of new commissions, member resignations, and term expirations.
These open seats are an opportunity for residents to bring their perspectives and expertise to
conversations that help determine the city’s policies and programs. Especially encouraged are applicantswho are culturally, ethnically, linguistically and socioeconomically diverse.
“We are consciously working to make our three dozen municipal boards and commissions reflect the makeup of our community,” said Mayor Charlie Sisitsky. “We can learn valuable insight from each other’s experiences.”
