Framingham Overnight Bridge Work Continues This Week

Work should be completed by Friday morning, and shouldn't have an impact on morning commutes this week.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is conducting overnight bridge work on the I-90 ramp bridges over Route 9 this week.

Work is scheduled through Thursday, and will take place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning. Work will be completed by 5 a.m. on Friday, May 23.

When the I-90 eastbound and westbound (exit 111) off-ramps to Route 9 westbound are closed:

  • Traffic will follow Route 9 eastbound and reverse direction at Country Club Lane to access Route 9 westbound

When the Route 9 eastbound and westbound ramps to I-90 (exit 111) are closed:

  • Traffic will continue westbound on Route 9
  • Use Route 30 and Route 9 eastbound to access I-90

Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area, officials said.
