Berkshire Bank is pleased to announce that Dennis Staires has joined the bank as vice president, assistant manager at its new flagship private banking center at 1 Post Office Square in Boston.

A resident of Framingham, Massachusetts, Staires is a seasoned financial services professional with a specialty in private banking who most recently served as private banking assistant office manager for First Citizens Bank in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

“Delivering exceptional service means understanding each client’s unique goals and being there as a trusted advisor every step of the way to help them achieve their financial goals,” Staires said. “Building strong client relationships has been my focus throughout my career, and I’m eager to continue that work with the innovative and client-driven team at Berkshire.”

Prior to First Citizens, Staires worked for Boston Private Bank and Silicon Valley Bank and had roles as branch manager and assistant store manager at Main Street Bank and TD Bank in Sudbury, Massachusetts, respectively.

The bank’s new 7,000-square-foot private banking center on the marquee corner of Pearl and Milk streets provides a modern, sophisticated, integrated banking experience for clients and prospective clients in the heart of the city’s financial district.

Staires reports to Needham resident Paul O'Donnell, senior vice president, private banking center officer, who previously spent 18 years with Boston Private Bank, and then SVB Private and First Citizens Bank where he led its eastern Massachusetts branches with a multibillion-dollar deposit base.
