Framingham Schools Issues Press Release With Wrong School Hours

The Framingham Public Schools sent out a second press release yesterday on the first day of school for students with the updated hours.

Framingham Public Schools issued a press release with the wrong school end times for a couple of its elementary schools for early release days and had to re-issue a second press release to correct the early release times.

The original press release from the Framingham Public Schools was dated August 23.

Yesterday, August 26 was the first day of school for students in grades 1-12 in the public school district.

At 11:35 a.m. on August 26, Framingham Public Schools sent out a second updated press release on school start and end times, including the changes for early release.

The first press release reported on early release days students at Brophy, Hemenway and Potter Road Elementary schools are released at 1 p.m. They are released at 1:10 p.m.
