Framingham Selectmen Honor State Champion Hockey Team

This was the second state championship in a row for Framingham coach Michael Dutcher.

Michael Dutcher works as a Framingham Fire captain full time, but in his spare time he coaches Framingham hockey teams to state championships.

Last year, Dutcher’s Framingham Squirt B team won the Massachusetts championship.

This year, his Peewee team won the Tier IV State Championship at Loring Arena in Framingham, by defeating Needham 3-0.

The team went undefeated in the tournament. Goalie Scott Baia gave up just 5 goals in 5 games. Ten of the Peewee players were members of the Squirt B championships.
