Framingham Sets Fall 2021 Curbside Leaf, Brush Pickups
Framingham residents will have two separate periods to dispose of brush, plus a month for leaves.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Time to break out the wheelbarrows, saws and rakes: autumn (and winter) leaf and brush pickups are coming soon to Framingham.
This year, Framingham will have two separate brush pickup periods — one the week of Oct. 25 to 29, and a second from Dec. 6 to 10. Curbside leaf and yard waste collection will take place Nov. 1 to Dec. 3. Pickups will happen on regular trash and recycling days.
In general, "brush" means sticks, twigs, branches and shrubs. Yard waste is a separate category that includes leaves, grass clippings, plant waste and light trimming, and must be collected in paper bags. See all the requirements on the Department of Public Works website.
