Framingham Snow Emergency Parking Ban Announced Ahead Of Winter Storm

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A winter storm could bring up to 10 inches of snow in Massachusetts today, prompting Framingham officials to declare a snow emergency parking ban.

Framingham Department of Public Works snow and ice preparations are already underway, city officials said.

The National Weather Service projects between 4 to 8 inches of snow locally, with a winter storm warning in effect.

NWS officials said the heaviest snow is expected between 6 p.m. and midnight, causing slick roads that could make travel dangerous.

Framingham's parking ban begins at midnight on Monday and lasts until 12 p.m., city officials said.
