Framingham State Cross Country Teams Participate in Sheehan Memorial
The women finished in fourth place and the men in sixth place Saturday.
FITCHBURG _ The Framingham State cross country team participated in the 2015 Jim Sheehan Memorial Invite hosted by Fitchburg State on Saturday afternoon.
The women’s team finished fourth out of seven teams and the men’s team finished in sixth place.
The Rams top finisher on the women’s side was sophomore Taylor Roberts with a 5k time of 21:16.8 for a 6th place individual finish. Senor Morgan Zabinski was the second Ram to cross the line at 23:36.6 (21st place), followed by junior Courtney Torres as 23:48.0 (24th place).

On the men’s side junior Dan Stevens was the first Ram in with a 5 mile time of 32:11.7 (26th) followed by junior Richie Wertz at the 33:57.7 (37th) mark.
The Rams will attend the Smith College Invitation next Saturday, Sept. 12.
