Framingham State Tuition Promise Aims To Make College More Affordable For MA Students
Any admitted in-state undergraduate student whose household income is $85,000 or less will pay $0 in tuition and fees, officials said.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham State University has announced a new initiative called the Framingham State Tuition Promise, something officials say is a "bold new commitment ensuring that a high-quality public education is within reach for more students across Massachusetts."
Any admitted Massachusetts undergraduate student whose household income is $85,000 or less will pay $0 in tuition and fees to attend Framingham State. This does not include expenses like housing and meals, but additional financial aid is available for those who qualify, officials said.
“Framingham State was founded on the idea that education can change the course of a life,” says President Nancy S. Niemi. “The Framingham State Tuition Promise carries that legacy forward. By removing financial barriers for the families who need us most, we are creating a pathway for students to imagine a future that once felt out of reach.”
