Framingham Teen Killed in Motorcycle Crash

The crash happened Wednesday night on Central Street in Framingham. The driver killed only had a learner's permit for the motorcycle.

Framingham Police have identified the driver as Gregory Mancini, 18, of Framingham.

He was a Keefe Technical School graduate

“It appears the 2012 Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle was traveling west on Central Street by Wickford when it came in contact with the guardrail and Mancini was ejected,” said Framingham Police Lt. Cronin.

There are no known eye witnesses to the actual crash said Lt. Cronin.

It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in the crash, at this point, said Lt. Cronin.

While he had a valid Class D license to operate a car, Mancini held only a learner’s permit for a motorcycle which prohibits operation between sunset and sunrise, said Lt. Cronin.

It is unknown at this time if he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

No cause of the crash has been determined.

Massachusetts State Police reconstruction unit is assisting Framingham Police with the investigation.
