FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham will host its 34th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Block Party on Dec. 5 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Building Plaza and Union Avenue, officials announced this week.

“The Tree Lighting Ceremony is a beloved Framingham tradition that brings our community together to celebrate the joy of the season. I encourage everyone, neighbors, families, and friends, to join us for an evening of lights, music, and holiday cheer,” said Mayor Charlie Sisitsky.

A 35-foot Norway spruce tree, donated by Kevin and Cheryl Nelson and William Lytte of Bradford Road, was gifted to the City of Framingham.
