Framingham Veterans Day 2025: Schedule Of Events
Framingham will host a series of events on the Tuesday holiday. Here's what to know.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham officials have announced the schedule for its Veterans Day celebrations in 2025.
The city will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at 11:11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, located at the corner of Concord Street and Guadalcanal Road.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will move indoors to Cushing Memorial Chapel at Cushing Memorial Park. A decision regarding the location will be announced no later than noon on Nov. 10.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel Dennis B. Ford, U.S. Army Reserve. The program will include:
- Master of Ceremonies: Jen Sawvelle – U.S. Marine Corps Veteran; Veterans’ Services Representative, City of Framingham
- Presentation of Colors: Framingham Police Department Honor Guard
- National Anthem: Nicole Herring – Daughter of Gold Star Honoree Specialist Four Phillip Herring
- Pledge of Allegiance: Framingham Scouts, led by Nick Paganella – U.S. Army Korean War Veteran
- Invocation: Reverend Sarah Mato – Rector, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Framingham
- Greetings from Mayor Charlie Sisitsky
- Greetings from the City Council: Philip R. Ottaviani, Jr. – City Council Chair, District 6 Councilor
- Remarks from the Framingham History Center: Anna Tucker – Executive Director, Framingham History Center
- Governor’s Proclamation: Robert Meltzer – U.S. Air Force Veteran; Veterans Council Member
- Keynote Speaker: Lieutenant Colonel Dennis B. Ford – U.S. Army Reserve
- Taps: Charles F. Rousseau – Vice Chair, Veterans Council
- Retirement of Colors: Framingham Police Department Honor Guard
Prior to the ceremony, there will be a visit to Veterans memorials in the City of Framingham. Those interested in doing the tour should meet at the Memorial Building at 7:45 a.m., officials said.
