Framingham-Worcester Line Adds Midday Train Service

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The updated MBTA winter schedule will bring expanded train service to the Framingham-Worcester line.

Officials said they've added additional midday trains for weekday service as part of the schedule adjustment.

Returning Weekday Inbound trains include:

Train 516 (11 a.m. from Worcester)

Returning Weekday Outbound trains include:

Train 507 (7:30 a.m. from South Station)

Train 511 (8:55 a.m. from South Station)

Train 515 (10:50 a.m. from South Station)

Train 519 (12:55 p.m. from South Station)

Wellesley officials said the midday trains were eliminated for a few months to accommodate construction.

The new winter schedule includes minor time adjustments for potential slippery rails and to ensure safety on the tracks, they noted.
