Framingham's Haunted Trolley Tour Returns For 2025

Costumed reenactors will bring Framingham's haunted past to life, from witches and highwaymen to unexplained happenings and more.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Just in time for Halloween, the Framingham History Center announces the return of its highly anticipated Haunted Trolley Tour.

The tour is scheduled for Oct. 26 from 1 to 6:00 p.m.

Residents and attendees can expect a Framingham history lesson with reenactments and tales that have shaped some of the city's enduring legends.

"This year, the Haunted Trolley Tour features an all-new script written by beloved local historian Jim Parr, blending forgotten history, eerie folklore, and unsettling encounters that will keep guests on edge from start to finish," officials said. "Even returning visitors will discover fresh stories, spooky twists, and local mysteries they’ve never heard before."

Attendees will board one of ten trolleys, each led by a local volunteer, and travel through the city’s historic streets.

With five to six stops along the way, costumed reenactors will bring Framingham’s haunted past to life, from witches and highwaymen to long-lost residents and unexplained happenings.

In addition to the trolley tours, visitors can enjoy festive activities at the FHC Village Hall on the Common, with games and entertainment.
