The largest crowd ever searched for 2,000 eggs during Framingham Parks & Recreation’s 5th annual event on Saturday morning.
Children, ages 3-12, ran through the mud and snow to find six assigned-colored eggs, and to search for one of the 6 elusive “golden” eggs at Cushing Memorial Park on April 4. Each child was given a ring, which identified which color eggs she or he needed to find.
Last year, 135 children were registered for the event. This year, the event was a sell-out at 225 children.

Finders of the “golden” eggs went home with a larger-than-life stuffed duck.

TD Bank, a sponsor, gave away yo-yos and chalk to attendees, too.
There was also arts & crafts stations. Children could color, create colored eggs, or create a bunny visor.
