Jenny Lewis, Jim Irsay Collection, Sad Summer Fest: MA Weekend Events

MASSACHUSETTS — It isn't so much a question of what there is to do in the Boston area and beyond, but rather, what should locals do?

Starting Friday, Jack's Abby, one of the most beloved Massachusetts breweries, will celebrate 12 years of lagers at its Framingham Beer Hall with an old-fashioned fair-style celebration.

Saturday brings a number of high profile performers to the Boston area in musicians Jenny Lewis and Noel Gallagher as well as comedian Neal Brennan. Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay will also be in Boston this weekend showing off his collection of music, sports and pop culture memorabilia during an exhibit at TD Garden.

Then on Sunday, the summer goes melancholy with Sad Summer Fest, bringing a number of high-profile emo bands to Boston.
