Lena Dunham Mourns Former 'Girls' Actor Killed in Framingham Accident
The "Girls" creator dedicated an Instagram post to Nick Lashaway.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Upon hearing the news that actor Nick Lashaway was killed in a car accident, “Girls” star Lena Dunham took to Instagram on Wednesday to speak kind words about him.
“We will always remember the week we shared with him, his playful smile, his easy instincts, how much he made us laugh even when we had to stay up all night in the woods,” Dunham said in the post. “We are sending love to his family and friends and feeling such gratitude for his gifts. RIP sweet Nick.”

Lashaway, 28, was the sole casualty in a three-car accident in Framingham on May 8.
Ted Piers, a retired Framingham police officer, and his two sons, came upon the accident and pulled Lashaway from his burning Jeep and gave him CPR. Two nurses who lived nearby also came to the scene.

The crash, which happened around 6:30 p.m. on Badger Road near the Ashland line, required a lifeflight, and mutual aid, according to online scanner reports.
Initial updates had indicated that one involved in the crash required CPR, and was transported to the hospital with "traumatic arrest."
Lashaway appeared on an episode of season 2 as Dunham’s love interest. The actor has also appeared in a 1998 episode of “The X-Files,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and “In Time.”
