LOG: Vehicles Strike Train, Pole, and Sign; 6 Arrests, and Police Called to Kindercare and Library

Editor’s Note: Gov. Patrick signed into law a new domestic violence law in mid-2014. The new law block the public’s access to domestic violence arrests until after the accused is arraigned in court. Framingham Patch will publish all arrests in the Framingham Police log.

Thursday, August 20: 6 arrest and 10 crashes
12:03 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Flagg Drive and Oask Road. Truck struck sign. Vehicle drove to MetroWest Medical Center with the sign. Highway department retrieved the sign.
12:14 a.m. Medical assistance requested at Sober Housing/SMOC, 75 Hollis Street. Framingham Fire transported one.
12:54 a.m. Suspicious person reported at Downtown Common, 60 Concord Street. Framingham Police removed.
2:01 a.m. Motor vehicle investigation at Route 135 and Wilde Avenue.
2:04 a.m. Motor vehicle investigation at Donovan Drive
2:16 a.m. Suspicious activity reported at 50 Phelps Road.
2:25 a.m. Police arrested on Wilde Avenue Haroldo Perez, 26, of 18 Conant Road of Framingham. Charged with operating a motor vehicle with no license and equipment violations.
2:45 a.m. Police arrested at his residence Peter Mavrikis, 22, of 16 Donovan Drive of Framingham. Charged on warrants.
6:30 a.m. Police arrested at his residence James A Masotta, 48, of 110 Cedar Street second floor of Framingham. Charged on warrant.
7:15 a.m. Police arrested at his residence Regine Narcisse, 21, of 84B Taralli Terrace of Framingham. Charged on warrant.
8:01 a.m.Larceny reported at 273 Belknap Road.
8:39 a.m. Police arrested at 624 Worcester Rd Diogo Borges, 28, of 447 Boston Post Road Apt 16 of Marlborough. Charged on warrants including operating a motor vehicle with no license.
9:48 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at 1800 Worcester Road. Route 9 eastbound. No injuries. Both vehicles towed.
10:15 a.m. Police arrested at 266 Concord Street Robert Joseph Griffin, 50, listed as homeless in Framingham. Charged on warrant.
10:22 a.m. Animal complaint reported at 5 Flutie Pass.
10:22 a.m. Medical assistance requested at Sullivan Tire, 157 Union Avenue. Framingham Fire transported one.
10:27 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Route 135 and Hollis Street. No injuries.
10:42 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle broken into at 20 Nelson Road.
10:57 a.m. Medical assistance requested at Kindercare, 73 Harrington Road. Framingham Fire transported one.
12:48 p.m. Shoplifter reported at Kohl’s, Shoppers World, 1 Worcester Rd. Framingham Police assisted.
1:20 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Route 9 and Crossing Blvd.
2:19 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Dunkin Donuts, 1670 Worcester Rd.
3:03 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at MetroWest Medical Center, 115 Lincoln Street. No injuries.
3:30 p.m. Undesirable individual reported at Donwtown Common, 60 Concord Street. Framingham Police removed.
4:06 p.m. Hit & run crash reported at Kendall Avenue and Leland Street
4:42 p.m. Medical assistance requested at Downtown Common, 60 Concord Street. Framingham Police advised.
4:46 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at 398 Edmands Road. Car vs pole. Pole needs to be removed. Verizon notified. No injuries. Vehicle must be towed.
4:51 p.m. Suspicious activity reported at Food Mart, 1 Kendall Street.
5:07 p.m. Group reported at MBTA Commuter rail train station, 495 Waverely Street. Framingham Police advised.
5:53 p.m. Undesirable individual reported at the commuter rail lot, 0 Franklin Street. Framingham Police removed.
6:17 p.m. Undesirable individual reported at the Dennison Triangle, 4 Bishop Street. Framingham Police advised.
7:02 p.m. Group reported at 444 Franklin Street. Framingham Police removed.
7:04 p.m. Medical assistance requested at Sewifisticated Fabrics, 136 Howard Street.
7:37 p.m. Medical assistance requested at Framingham Public Library, 49 Lexington Street. Framingham fire transported one.
8:54 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Franklin and Maple streets. Three vehicles.
8:59 p.m. Medical assistance requested at Hastings House, 115 Cochituate Rd. Framingham Fire transported one.
9 p.m. Medical assistance requested at Pathways Shelter, 248 Edgell Road.

10:11 p.m. Group reported at Tedeschi’s, downtown Framingham. Framingham Police removed the group.
10:17 p.m. Group reported at the MBTA commuter lot, 0 Franklin Street. Framingham Police removed the group.
10:51 p.m. Disturbed person reported on Priort Drive. Framingham Police transported.
11:25 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Blandin Avenue. Vehicle struck a CSX Train. No injuries. Framingham Fire en route. CSX supervisor called. Ashland requested for translation.
