UPDATED: Izzy Has Been Found

Dog lost near Wayland-Framingham border.

Updated, Monday, 9:20 a.m.: Izzy has been found! We found her this morning near Danforth Street in Framingham. She'd been along the river in that area and was found on a residential street. She is now home, safe and sound!

Updated, Sunday, 10:45 p.m.: Izzy was last seen Sunday afternoon traveling up Elm Street in Framingham's Saxonville, then north past Cameron Middle School in Framingham. She was seen on the aquaduct heading east, near Potter Road. Please keep an eye out in the Pelham Island Road and Heard Farm areas as well.

Anyone who sees her, please let animal control know. We're hoping to find out any location where she's been seen, and animal control will contact us with the info. Or call Abby at 617-913-6951.

Earlier Sunday: Have you seen Izzy?

She's a wire-haired pointing griffon with brown, shaggy hair, and is wearing a blue collar. She got away around noon on Sunday in Framingham near Old Connecticut Path and Danforth Street and was seen on Meadow Street in Framingham.

She is likely making her way toward Dudley Pond in Wayland and her home on Mathews Drive.

Izzy may or may not allow a stranger to approach.
