UPDATED: Life-Threatening Motorcycle Crash Reported at Central and Wickford Streets

Framingham Police and Fire are on the scene of a very serious crash in North Framingham, at Wickford Street, which happened around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26.

Central Street is closed at Simpson Park, and is expected to be closed for a couple of hours on Wednesday night.

A medical helicopter was requested, abd was expected to land at Framingham High.

Reports of life-threatening injuries.

Initial reports have a motorcycle involved in the crash, with a vehicle. Although there are reports of the crash being a single crash with the motorcyclist slamming into a guard rail.

Unconfirmed reports that the male driving the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet, and suffered a head injury.

Those on the scene reported the motorcycle was mangled.

Later, the medical helicopter requested was cancelled. It never transported any individual.

Reports from individuals living in the neighborhood of the crash have the motorcycle driver, a young male, as being from Framingham.

Framingham Patch contacted Framingham Police but no one was available to speak about the crash on Wednesday night.
