MA's Newest L.L. Bean Store Opens This Week
The store is set to open at Fresh Market Plaza in Framingham with activations and a ribbon-cutting.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Tote bags and Duck Boots will be easier to come by in the MetroWest starting this weekend.
L.L.Bean, the outdoor lifestyle brand founded in Maine in 1912, will open a new store in Massachusetts on Nov. 7 at Fresh Market Plaza in Framingham.
The Grand Opening will feature a series of weekend-long events, including family-friendly activities and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

At 8:45 a.m. on Nov. 7, the store will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new store opening. L.L. Bean representatives, local elected officials and YMCA partners will be on-site for the event.
The latter group is important, as L.L.Bean will make a $10,000 contribution to the MetroWest – YMCA Framingham Branch to "provide summer camp access for underserved youth, reinforcing its commitment to helping people enjoy the restorative power of being outside," officials said.

On Saturday, the first 100 customers will receive a custom monogrammed Boat & Tote. Additionally, notable figures from the Boston Red Sox are set to appear at the store.
“Framingham’s location in the heart of MetroWest makes it an ideal spot for our newest retail store,” said Greg Elder, Chief Retail Officer at L.L.Bean. “It will allow us to more conveniently serve our area customers with our outdoor-inspired, four-season assortment of apparel and footwear.”
To staff the new location, L.L.Bean is hiring up to 85 employees for full- and part-time roles, including store team leads and sales associates. Applications are now being accepted online for the open roles, officials said.
