Mass Pike Work Prompts Overnight Closures In Framingham
The work is set to continue in Framingham through Tuesday. Here's when to avoid the area.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing overnight bridge work will continue for the I-90 ramp bridge over Route 9 in Framingham. The work will take place on Sunday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 2, during overnight hours, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., the following morning. All work will be completed by 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3.
There will be temporary overnight traffic impacts to allow crews and contractors to conduct construction operations safely and effectively. During the overnight work, the following detours will be in place:

- When the I-90 eastbound and westbound (exit 111) off-ramps to Route 9 westbound are closed, traffic will be directed to follow the detour signage in place and use Route 9 eastbound then reverse direction at Country Club Lane to access Route 9 westbound.
- When the Route 9 westbound ramp to I-90 (exit 111) is closed, traffic looking to access I-90 eastbound/westbound will be directed to follow the detour signage in place and continue westerly on Route 9 and follow signage for Route 30 and Route 9 eastbound to access I-90 eastbound and westbound.
Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
