Mayor Spicer Introduces Joseph Kennedy For 2018 Good Guys Award
When the mayor was at the Museum of Science she and the Congressman served on several STEM boards together.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—The Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus's (MWPC) 17th Annual Good Guys Awards Event was held on Thursday night at the Omni Parker House in Boston. The Good Guys Award honors men who work toward achieving gender parity by supporting women personal, professional, and civic lives.
Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer introduced Congressman Joseph Kennedy, who is a 2018 Good Guys Award recipient. According to the announcement, when the mayor was at the Museum of Science she and the Congressman served on several STEM boards together. Kennedy was acknowledged for his commitment to issues such as mental health and addiction, manufacturing, STEM education and pay equity.
The event was sold out and had just under 300 people in attendance. In addition to Dr. Spicer and Congressman Kennedy, those in attendance included: Governor Charlie Baker, Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, WCVB TV's Karen Holmes Ward, Reverend Liz Walker and former WBZ News reporter Sarah Ann Shaw.
