MetroWest Medical Center Names New CEO
The new CEO will take the top role for the network, including Framingham Union Hospital and Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Two MetroWest hospitals have a new chief executive officer as of today.
Greg McFarland, MHA, will take over as CEO of MetroWest Medical Center, inclusive of Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham and Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick.
Officials with MetroWest say he is "a seasoned leader known for his collaborative leadership style, strong results and deep commitment to both patient care and staff development."

"Greg brings a great blend of experience, leadership skills and strategic thinking to this role," said Massachusetts Market CEO, Denten Park. "We are honored to have him lead the team at MetroWest Medical Center to deliver high-quality care to the communities we serve."
Most recently, McFarland served as Chief Operating Officer at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a 656-bed tertiary facility offering trauma, NICU, stroke, cardiac and burn services.

His experience partnering with physicians to develop and grow clinical programs will be an asset to future growth at MetroWest Medical Center, officials said.
McFarland holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Trinity University and a bachelor’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University.
