The Framingham Veterans Department held its 5th Annual Sock Hop last Friday night.The Veterans Department was collecting new white cotton socks for Veterans. The Framingham Medical Reserve Corps and Public Health Nurse are volunteering at the annual Veterans Administration "Stand Down" for homeless veterans. They will provide much needed foot care to homeless veterans and need new white cotton socks to give out.If you missed the concert but still want to help, socks may be dropped off at the Framingham Veterans Services office in the Memorial Building (Room B11) through Friday, August 28. The Memorial Building is open only until 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28.
