Moderator Appoints Former School Committee Chair To Finance Committee

The Town Moderator appointed former School Committee Chair David Miles and former Finance Committee member Dan Lampl to the Framingham Finance Committee. She also re-appointed Nancy Wilson to the Committee.

Scott Estes and Kurt Steinberg terms on the Framingham Finance Committee expired on June 30.

Largely an advisory committee, the Framingham Finance Committee consists of nine members, each of whom is appointed by the Town Moderator for a term of 3 years.

It is the responsibility of the Framingham Finance Committee to advise Town Meeting regarding financial issues that come before it and to recommend action on warrant articles based on these issues.

Members of the finance committee, serve without pay, and can not hold any elective or other appointive town office in Framingham.
