MutualOne Awards Ashland Education Foundation $3,500
Ashland Education Foundation is raising funds to purchase a total of 180 Chromebooks to support academic teams at the middle school.

Robert P. Lamprey, chairman of the MutualOne Charitable Foundation, announced the Foundation has awarded a $3,500 grant to the Ashland Education Foundation, Inc. to help meet state Technology Literacy Standards at the middle school level.
Ashland Education Foundation is raising funds to purchase a total of 180 Chromebooks to support academic teams teaching in four major subject areas: ELA, math, science, and social studies.
“We are pleased to support Ashland’s efforts to enhance the education of its students by providing an integrated technology base in the curriculum at all school levels,” said Lamprey, in a press release. “Today’s students will need solid technology knowledge and skills as they advance through the school system and beyond.”

The grant to the Ashland Education Foundation was among awards totaling more than $62,250 in the Foundation’s most recent round of funding.
Since it was established in 1998, the MutualOne Charitable Foundation has donated over $3 million to charitable, educational, and civic initiatives that improve and enhance the quality of life in Framingham, Natick, and surrounding communities.
