New Swim School Coming To Framingham

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Big Blue Swim School, one of the nation's fastest-growing swim school franchises, announces the opening of its second Massachusetts location in Framingham. Friends & Family lessons and a formal ribbon cutting are scheduled for December 12, leading up to the first big splash as classes officially commence Monday, December 15, 2025, at 235 Old Connecticut Path, Framingham.

The location’s owners are a Boston-area husband-and-wife team who feel passionate about swim safety and Big Blue’s mission to empower kids with the skills they need to feel confident in the water.

Big Blue Swim School Framingham will offer weekly, year-round 30 to 45-minute swim lessons for children as young as three months old and up to twelve years old. Big Blue sets itself apart from other swim schools by combining a progress-focused curriculum, developed by professional swimmers, with the care and expertise of caring, highly-trained instructors to create an exceptional learn-to-swim experience.

Big Blue's facilities feature 90-degree, ultra-clean water, private changing rooms, comfortable viewing areas, and thoughtful touches throughout, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for families. Opening Day And Other Planned Events

At noon on Dec. 12, the Metrowest Chamber of Commerce will officially present Big Blue Swim School to the community with a formal ribbon cutting to be attended by the owners, representatives from local construction firm Acella Construction Corporation, as well as other city officials.

The Big Blue Holiday Fun Day is free, open to the public and set for Dec. 14, from 12 - 3 p.m. That day, guests can participate in complimentary food truck treats, holiday music, party games, crafts, photo ops, and pool tours.
