Owner of Framingham Restaurants Gives Away $500,000

To celebrate 10 years in Framingham, the owner of two restaurants gave away a half million dollars in July.

To celebrate his 10th anniversary in Framingham , Samba Steak & Sushi owner Joseph Zhang ran a promotion in July to thank his loyal customers.

Patrons at both Samba Steak & Sushi and Samba West received a gift card in the amount they spent in food at either restaurant. For example, if a customer’s bill came to $54.35, not counting alcohol, the customer received a gift card worth $54.

For the month of July, Zhang gave away $500,000 in gift cards between the two Framingham establishments, said Samba’s Public relations manager Traci Simpson.

This is not the first time Zhang has thanked loyal customers, since opening Samba Steak & Sushi in 2005.

Zhang has held private luau parties for loyal customers, he held multiple fundraisers to help a Framingham family after a fire, he has hosted events for charities and non-profit organizations, and hosted numerous PTO events over the years.
