First published at 1:35 p.m. on August 15. ***Framingham Police had to close Route 135 in downtown Framingham Saturday, after a pair of utility poles toppled over at 88 Waverley Street. The 12:30 p.m. event caused a power outage in the neighborhood and knocked out the traffic light at Dennison Crossing.Eversource is on the scene making repairs. Power was restored by 6 p.m.

Framingham Police had to close Route 135 in downtown Framingham Saturday, after a pair of utility poles toppled over at 88 Waverley Street. The 12:30 p.m. event caused a power outage in the neighborhood and knocked out the traffic light at Dennison Crossing.

Eversource is on the scene making repairs. Power was restored by 6 p.m.

The traffic light at Dennison Crossing is not working and part of the neighborhood is without power.
