Pedestrian, 15, Struck on Route 9
The teen boy was taken to UMass Medical in Worcester.

A 15-year-old boy was walking with friends along Route 9, and stepped into traffic, according to Framingham Police.
He was struck by a vehicle at 1583 Worcester Road, near Samba West around 2:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10.
He was conscious at the scene, according to Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin.

He was taken to UMass Medical center in Worcester for precautions, according to Cronin.
The injuries do not appear life threatening, said Lt. Cronin.
