The Framingham man, 41, was hospitalized after the crash after midnight on Monday, Sept 1.

A Framingham man was driving, while under the influence of alcohol, when he crashed his vehicle into St. Tarcisius Church, just after midnight on Monday, Sept 1, according to Framingham Police.

Everildo Sagastume, 41, of Beaver Court, suffered “multiple” injuries from the crash and was transported to a Boston Hospital, according to Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin.

Cronin said a warrant will be issued for his arrest. Sagastume will be charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, driving without a license, and other motor vehicle violations, he said.

Police were first called to Route 135 for a report of a hit and run crash around 12:45 a.m., after a man reported a vehicle crashed into his parked Honda Accord.
