Rams Win 8th Annual Corsair Volleyball Invitational
Framingham State volleyball back in action Tuesday night when they host Plymouth State University.

North Dartmouth. – The Framingham State University volleyball team defeated Eastern Nazarene College, 3-0, and the host UMass Dartmouth Corsairs, 3-1, on day two en route to capturing the eighth annual Corsair Volleyball Invitational on Saturday
The Rams improve to 4-0 on the young season with the pair of victories.
Framingham State defeated the Lions 25-5, 25-15, and 25-9 in their first match of the day. Senior Danielle Girard and junior Julia Wan led the Rams offensive attack with six kills apiece. Girard also contributed a team-high 10 defensive digs, while sophomore Molly Meehan picked up 11 set assists.

In the Tournament’s final match the Rams defeated the hosts 25-22, 25-11, 17-25 and 25-17.
Junior Alycia Rackliffe led the way with 13 kills and five blocks, while Wan added 10 kills and four blocks. Sophomore Victoria Anderson paced the back row effort with 19 digs, while Meehan added 11 digs and 20 assists.

The Rams are back in action Tuesday night when they host Plymouth State University in a non-conference match beginning at 7 p.m.
