Roadwork To Cause Delays In Framingham

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham Department of Public Works Highway Division announced this week that a subcontractor will conduct roadway work on Edgell Road from Central Street to Water Street from Tuesday through Thursday this week.

Crews from Newport Construction will be on site between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day, performing casting adjustments to manholes and water gates along the recently paved roadway, officials said.

Alternating traffic patterns will be in place during the work period, and motorists "should anticipate delays and seek alternate routes when possible."
