Scenes From The 14th Annual Flutie 5K
25 teams, 850 runners helped raise over $85K for the Framingham-based Flutie Foundation for autism.
The 14th annual Flutie 5K, a fundraising race that raises funds for autism awareness, was held Sunday, Oct. 20 at the Leonard Morse campus of the MetroWest Medical Center in Natick.
Family, friends, residents and other competitors laced up their running shoes for the rolling 3.1-mile race that goes through some hilly neighborhoods in Natick, starting and ending at the hospital on Union Avenue.
Among those in attendance were Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman and Wally the Green Monster.
Over, 850 runners helped raise more than $85,000 for the Framingham-based Flutie Foundation.
