SLIDESHOW: Sink Hole Develops After Water Main Break

Crews were on the scene for hours to repair a water main break on Potter Road Tuesday.

The break happened just after 3 p.m. on March 8.

Framingham Water Division reported about 12 homes were without water on Potter Road between Elm Street and Upton Road.

A one-way alternating traffic flow was instituted after the break.

Framingham resident Kristi Johnson said water was back to her home by around 8 p.m., but crews were still out working as a sinkhole had developed in front of her house too.

Johnson submitted photos to patch of the sink hole and crew working to fix the main and the road.
