FRAMINGHAM, MA — This very rainy summer isn't quite over yet.
Remnants of Fred — now a tropical depression — will move into the area late Wednesday night, bringing rain and the slight risk of flash flooding, according to the National Weather Service. But the worst of Fred will likely hit during the day on Thursday, when there's a chance of thunderstorms and rain totals up to a half inch.
Fred is one of three storms brewing in the Atlantic. Tropical Storm Henri is tracking far off the East Coast near Bermuda, and may not reach New England until Sunday. Tropical Storm Grace is headed across the Gulf of Mexico.
