Wanted: Team Framingham 2016 Corporate Sponsors
Team Framingham in 2014 and 2015 combined raised more than $110,000 for local charities.

Framingham Selectman Vice Chair Mike Bower announced corporate sponsors are being sought for the 2016 Team Framingham program.
The 2015 Team Framingham corporate sponsors included Herb Connolly Acura, Cumberland Farms, LaCantina Italiana, and Allstar Auto Sales.
Corporate sponsors are being solicited to help underwrite expenses in support of the Team Framingham runners:

• Team Framingham t-shirts (“premier” sponsors will be listed on the t-shirt)
• Team Framingham busing for training runs, including charity day, Saturday March 26
• Team Framingham busing to the Hopkinton starting line on Marathon Monday, April 18

Bower will be representing the Board of Selectmen in the Team Framingham 2016 efforts as he has done the past two years.
Assistant Town Manager Jennifer Thompson previously represented the town administration in the Team Framingham effort. Thompson recently took a position of Town Administrator in Plainville and Town Manager Bob Halpin will soon name a member of the administration team to work on the Team Framingham 2016 effort.
The Team Framingham 2016 runners will be working hard to raise funds for six local charities and attempt to surpass the fundraising totals set by the 2014 and 2015 teams which combined raised more than $110,000 for worthy local charitable organizations.
The Team Framingham training program which is run in cooperation with the Greater Framingham Running Club has been extremely successful in guiding 46 of 47 team runners to the finish line of the historic and challenging Boston Marathon course.
The launch of the Team Framingham 2016 random selection entry process will take place on Thursday, Oct. 1 with the random selection scheduled for Monday, Dec. 7.
