Stapleton Elementary School's Office Manager Marylou Greenwood is the "heart and spirit of the school."

Marylou Greenwood was one of 23 Framingham School employees honored at the 23rd Annual Salute to Framingham.
The annual Salute program recognizes Framingham teachers and staff who go the extra mile to make each day “special” in our public schools. These teachers and staff are given a “You Are Special” designation and are publicly recognized as part of the Salute to Framingham. They are nominated by administration/building principals.

Stapleton Elementary School’s Office Manager Marylou Greenwood is the heart and spirit of the school. She has worked in the District for 25 years, but for the past eight, it has been her warm and welcoming face and voice that greet anyone who enters Stapleton’s doors, always leaving visitors with a positive first impression.
Marylou is organized, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile for students, teachers, and parents. She works to connect parents with the resources or individuals that can help in any given situation.
She enthusiastically takes on additional responsibilities that help to make Stapleton a more efficient and effective learning environment and handles each new role with professionalism and grace. The level of effort and commitment that she puts in her work is commendable and a true testament to how much she believes in and loves the Stapleton community.
She is a friend to many and a true professional with all.
