The summer heat is back and the upcoming week is looking to be a hot one.

While there is a chance of a scattered thunderstorm Tuesday night, there’s no real chance of rain until late in the week.

While you’re trying to stay cool, you may also want to be aware the hot temperatures and low dewpoints this week will mean some serious discomfort for allergy sufferers.

Here is how this week’s weather is shaping up, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Monday: Partly cloudy skies Monday with a high of 93. Mostly clear skies Monday night with a low of 67.
  • Tuesday: Intervals of clouds and sunshine Tuesday with a high of 90. Expect variable cloudiness and a chance of a scattered thunderstorm Tuesday night with a low of 66.
  • Wednesday: Partly cloudy skies Wednesday with a high of 90. Clear to partly cloudy skies Wednesday night with a low of 66.
  • Thursday: Showers in the morning Thursday then clearing skies with ample sunshine and a high of 86. Partly cloudy skies will give way occasional showers later during the night Thursday with a low of 66.

Right now the upcoming weekend looks good with temperatures in the low 80s with clouds and sunshine.
