Each morning, Grafton Patch presents “5 Things You Need to Know,” a collection of announcements, events, reminders and odd little ditties to help you organize your day. What will you be doing today?

1. Go walking in the gym at the at 8:30 a.m.

2. Play pitch at the at 1 p.m.

3. The Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Center.

4. The Town House Oversight Committee also meets at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Center.

5. June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, although every month is a good month to find a new friend. Check out the Worcester Animal Rescue League.
