• Witness: Firefighters pulled woman to safety during blaze in Grafton (telegram.com) — Firefighters rescued an elderly, bedbound woman from a blaze at 5 Forest Lane in Grafton on Dec. 17, then quickly knocked down the fire with no other injuries reported. Neighbor Eric Priest smelled burning plastic, alerted another resident to call 911, and watched as crews worked near Grafton High School while investigators continued probing the cause.
